Metering and the impact of Energy Policy Act 2005
was the subject of one of the sessions at WEEC 2007,
in Atlanta. Kevin Fuller, executive vice president of Interval
Data Systems, delved into the information that can be extracted
from metering. Hint, it's a lot more than just consumption and
demand. But, while meters are a reflection of every operational
decision the facilities staff makes, the reflection is never as
good as the real thing. Part two goes into information you can
find about your building if you go beyond the meter into the
interval data from the building automation system.
